Looks like one of our members got their letter to the editor published over at the Anchorage Daily News today -
"Why do Dems back Murkowski?
Why is it mostly Democrats who have Lisa Murkowski signs up? I've observed many of her signs alongside Harry Crawford signs -- he's 100 percent Democrat! Many other self-declared Democrats (Byron Mallott, Albert Kookesh, Barb Angaiak) stand alongside Lisa Murkowski at her rallies. At the rally last week, they were passing out "Ds for Lisa" paraphernalia. The crowd was asked how many were Democrats -- 30 percent to 50 percent raised their hands. Even prominent national Democrats such as Washington senator Patty Murray are all in for Murkowski.
Who is the Alaska Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, again? Sure seems like it is Lisa Murkowski. Was Lisa Murkowski ever truly a Republican?
Two things I know for sure -- we do not need another Mark Begich, Democratic-go-along in D.C. We do need another Republican. We need Joe Miller.
