The Anchorage Tea Party (ATP) will be hosting a Candidate Forum from 6:30 to 8:30 PM on Monday, June 25, 2012, at the Centerpoint Building, 3801 Centerpoint Drive in midtown Anchorage. ATP extended invitations to participate to all of the declared candidates for legislative offices in the greater Anchorage area and extends an open invitation to the public to participate as well.
The candidates responded to written questions that were submitted in advance by ATP and the responses from each candidate will be available at the forum. The forum agenda includes time for candidates to respond to questions submitted on index cards (available at the door) from the public. In addition, a fast and furious lighting round of YES/NO questions is planned to further inform the public, as well as to add some levity to the agenda.
Mr. Dave Stieren, host of the Dave Stieren Show on KFQD 750 AM / 103.7 FM, has graciously volunteered to moderate the event.
The program is free to the public and donations to cover expenses will be accepted.
The Anchorage Tea Party is a network of citizens which exists to inform, educate, attract, and involve the people of Alaska on the core foundations of constitutionally limited government, fiscal responsibility, and free markets.
