Anchorage-Area Legislative Candidate Forum
Alaska has a HUGE opportunity to make changes to the legislature this year with 59 seats up for grabs. It is important for us to identify tea-party-like candidates and get behind them. So who are those folks? Help us decide! We are sponsoring a first-of-its kind candidate forum where we will ask the hard questions—and you can too!
• Monday, June 25, 6:30 to 8:30pm, Centerpoint Building, 3801 Centerpoint Drive , First Floor
• Moderator: Dave Stieren, KFQD talk radio host
• Attendees will receive handouts of responses to some questions we have already asked the candidates. Responses received thus far are posted here on our website. Questions from the floor will be taken, and there will be a furious and fun “lightning round” of questions.
• Come meet the candidates face to face, look them in the eye, and ask them what you really want to know!
• Refreshments will be provided.
